XR Access Membership

A Commitment to the Future of Accessible XR

XR Access invites leaders in the XR industry to join us as Members.

Members help us establish business cases for XR accessibility, provide developer and designer education, map standards and best practices, and engage in outreach that creates lasting change.

Membership Benefits

Your membership dues support projects proposed by XR Access Workstream members, academic research in accessible XR, partnerships with nonprofits and Universities in the XR space, and overall programmatic and operating expenses.

Upcoming Projects

Collaboration with XR researchers, users, developers, content creators, and industry leaders is crucial to the success of XR Access. As a member, you’ll be able to propose projects to our diverse and dedicated XR Access community, vote on which ones receive funding, and work directly with our Workstream participants. More About Us

The XR Access Initiative is a Research Consortium at Cornell Tech in New York City, in collaboration with Yahoo and with key support from the Partnership on Employment and Accessible Technology. Its fiscal sponsor, Cornell University, is a private nonprofit institution of higher education.

XR Access is dedicated to ensuring that XR platforms, infrastructure, and content are accessible to people with disabilities. We engage, connect, and influence the field of XR, in order to build and share knowledge, skills, tools, user experiences, and leading practices to make XR more inclusive.
